Keep them in your prayers

Those of you who may know my Aunt Leah and Uncle David (my mom's sister) or if you don't, I ask you to keep their family in your prayers at this difficult time. Last week on Tuesday morning my cousin Adam passed away. He had been fighting to correct some mistakes in his life and turn things around for the better, unfortunately, these mistakes cost him his life. It has been a very difficult week with this news for my Mortensen family, especially Leah and David. Keep them in your prayers. Love you all.

Justin Hyer the Nurse

Shannon had a barbeque for Justin Saturday with family and friends in the park at Kuna.


This is at the pinning Friday night. At the left out of the picture are Nate and Tianna and then you see Jackie and Shannon and Justin's mom. a sister and his dad.

This is the pinning and was done by one of the women who taught them and I think her name was Joan. We are proud of Justin for his accomplishment and Shannon for her support. Go get em Justin! He is now a RN!

Baby Shower

On Saturday afternoon, Jaylynn and Lauren threw me a fantastic baby shower. It is so much fun getting stuff for little nudger! It makes me so excited to fix up his nursery and 'nest'. Here is a picture after the festivities of us three sisters!

Jaylynn and I comparing bellies. Jaylynn is 10 weeks ahead of me and so currently she only has 5 weeks left! Wow!

My mom, being the expert seamstress she is, sewed this beautiful quilt for little nudger. The nursery is a nautical theme.

I love little polo one-zies!

The baby shower was awesome and I enjoyed seeing some wonderful friends and family! I did not get pictures of the delicious food, but we had Caesar salad, Craisin salad, Cookie salad, fruit, pumpkin bars, brownies, Pasta salad and delicous foccacia bread (homemade). We played some really fun games and had a good time! Thank you Jay and Lauren for all your hard work. Lots of love!

As you can see I still can't get everything together. The items pictured are motorcycle parts Justin has airbrushed for guy. It is the cycle he wrecked last year and has done the paintings the owner wanted. The fender has a ghosted-in boothill complete with a hanging tree and the other items are self-evident.
